Paradise wanted? Travel to the Perhentian Islands!

By  |

So this is another part of my Malaysia travel diary.
After our stay at the gorgeous island Rawa we took the night bus to drive to the northern part of Malaysia, to the Perhentian Islands. The ferry took us to Pulau Perhentian Besar, which is the bigger one of the two Perhentian Islands. P. Besar is good for families and the smaller island is perfect for Backpackers.

We stayed at the Coral Bay View Resort and had a nice Cottage directly at the beach, with a private terrace.
Actually the beach wasn’t that great, so we took the water taxi to get to other beaches.

Nice Beaches:

  • Flora Bay
  • The beach around the Tuna Bay Resort
  • Long Beach (at the small island)

We also did a snorkel trip to several spots around the island. At the shark point we were snorkeling with reef sharks and it was an amazing experience! You can also snorkel with HUGE turtles and at the end of the trip, the guides bring you to a lonesome and hidden beach, which is true paradise!

Scorpion Fisch? Blaues Wasser? Traumstände? Schnorcheln? Ich bin über die Maße neidisch und freue mich, dass du deine Eindrücke mit uns teilst :)
