This was our beautiful stay at The Danna Hotel Langkawi

By  |

Before I show you all the hotspots of Langkawi I want to introduce you the hotel we were sleeping at for the first days. The Danna Langkawi is only three years old and designed in the british colonial style and offers everything you need for great Malaysia holidays, even organized trips and holiday packages. It is located in the bay named Pantai Kok, in the western part of the island. To get some more impressions of that awesome Danna Hotel, just watch our selfmade video and the photo gallery.

Rooms
We had a Merchant Room with a view in the green atrium. It’s a really huge room with a super cosy kingsize bed and a big bathroom, where you have the luxury of two wash-bowls.
The Danna Hotel offers several rooms with different views: the Merchant Room, the Marina View Room (view to the small marina), the Seaview Room (view to the Pool & sea) and several suites with views to the sea and the marina.

Eat & Drink
Every morning we were so excited for having breakfast, because this was stunning! Several forms of eggs and pancakes were ordered á la carte and all other things like fruits, asian cuisine, croissants and so on, you’ll find at the buffett. It was soooo delicious!!!
Five times per day there were little treats served at the pool, like drinks, fruit salad or samosas for example. Drinking water is complimentary during the whole day and at all bars.
We did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel, because during the days we were always out with our scooter to explore the island.

Sports & Wellness
We used the gym every day and found everything we needed for a good workout. Fresh fruits and water are complimentary in the gym.
We had a look at the Spa, where you can have several treatments in a nice atmosphere. We didn’t try them out but I really liked the treatment rooms for couples!
The absolute highlight is definitely the huge infinity pool, which is by the way the longest of Langkawi (51m). There are also deck chairs INSIDE the pool which is really cool. The whole design of that pool area is so great and modern.
We did not swim inside the sea in this bay, because the water wasn’t that nice. The sea bottom was a bit muddy. I guess it is because of the small islands in front of the bay, which prohibit the charge of fresh sea water… just a guess.

Service
I think it is hard to find another beach resort in Langkawi with such a polite and obliging service team! Everybody was absolutely friendly and helpful, everytime.

I hope I can give you a good impression of our stay at the Danna HotelLangkawi with my text, the pictures and the video. For a good review also critic aspects should be mentioned, but these are really really hard to find there… So I can absolutely recommend this hotel to you, when you are in Langkawi and want a luxury hotel!

Thanks to The Danna Hotel for the cooperation!
