Our trip around asia startet with a three stay in Singapore. Here we had this amazing hotel “Parkroyal on Pickering”, which is lying in China Town and not far away from the financial district. We slept in a deluxe room in the 15th floor and had access to the Orchid Club Lounge, where you receive drinks, food and resting time on the roof-deck.

The Parkroyal on Pickering has this gorgeous appearance with the blue-shimmering glass front and the tropical, green gardens all around… like a little oasis in the big city jungle Singapore! At the ground floor you have the Lime restaurant (for breakfast), the lobby and the reception. This area is so incredible stylish and gives you a lot of chillaxing areas (click here for more pictures). The breakfast was amazing as well, with all these western and asian goodies.
In the 5th floor you find an infinity pool, a whirlpool, a gym, a sauna and of course a SPA. And guess what, this area is as stylish and relaxing as the rest of the hotel.

We had a deluxe room and were absolutely satisfied. The bath- and bedroom are united, but you have the opportunity to close a door in between. When you take a bath, you have a really nice view over Singapore. No amenities were missing – just perfect!

And now let’s talk about our personal highlight of our stay in this amazing hotel. In the Orchid Club you can get a champaign breakfast, drinks during the whole day, cocktails in the evening, teatime at noon and savory snacks in the evening. The service, the beverages and food were extraordinary great!!!!! After our first sightseeing tours, we came back to the hotel in the afternoon to have a break with fresh coffee, delicious tee and for example maccarons, cakes and sandwiches. In the evening there were also chefs who served peking duck. You can also enjoy salads, fruits and several asian goodies in the evening there, if you want. Afterwards take a cocktail (a Singapore Sling is obligatory) and relax on the roof-deck with a nice view over Singapores skyline at night.

Damn; Neid!
